Concordia has an extensive collection but may not have every resource you need. Through our inter-library loan program, we can borrow items from other libraries for you.
MOBIUS is a consortium of libraries to which we belong. We share two online catalogs and a courier service so you can easily request and receive items. Start with the Bridges Catalog we share with St. Louis area libraries. If you find the resource you need, click "Request" by the checkmark at the top left of the page and give the required information. If you don't find the resource you need, click "MOBIUS" on the menu bar to search the MOBIUS Catalog shared with the all the consortium members. If you find what you need, click the "Request it" button next to the title. Items usually arrive at the Seminary in 3-5 business days. If you still haven't found the resource you need, follow the instructions in the OCLC WorldCat box below.
If you already searched the MOBIUS Catalogs (see above), then try searching WorldCat, a worldwide catalog and resource sharing system. You can enter your request directly into the system by clicking the "Request Item through Interlibrary Loan" button and completing the form. Or use the information to complete our own Book Request form and we will request the item(s) for you. The owning libraries may or may not choose to loan items to us, depending on copyright laws, condition of the item(s), or the shipping cost. Delivery may take up to a few weeks.
If you encounter problems or would like assistance with your request, please contact the library staff at 314-505-7300 or librarycirc@csl.edu We are here to answer questions and help connect you with the resources you need.
