Last week, Special Collections welcomed a new member to the team: a digitization system from Digital Transitions Cultural Heritage designs. This system includes professional lighting high resolution digital camera, and Capture One professional photography software that will allow for our Special Collections librarian, Bruce Durazzi, and team to digitally showcase and make available online some of the incredible holdings we have in Special Collections.
As you can see, the efforts of Bruce and Wayne Seitz, our Digital Services Coordinator to install the Special Collections new system was a long and valiant effort.
We are all very excited about being able to showcase the beautiful rare books and archival holdings in Special Collections soon! And we will continue to update you with news on our Special Collections.
